You will be operating a cargo van, and below you’ll find key information about the role, expectations, and a sample payslip. Payments are issued weekly, with payslips provided every Friday for full transparency.

Position Details:

Independent contractor (1099 position)
Weekly payments with detailed payslips
Primary work with BOLT
All standard vehicle maintenance is covered by Luca Ventures, including oil changes, tires, and routine servicing.

Requirements to Get Started:

Orientation with BOLT either tuesday or wednesdays
Valid driver’s license
Social Security information (for W-9 form)

What We’re Looking For:

OTR Availability: Willing to stay on the road for 2–4 weeks at a time
Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with dispatch and management
On-Time Performance: Pick up and deliver loads on schedule
Load Updates: Provide status updates during pickups, transit, and delivery
Equipment Care: Keep the cargo van clean and in good condition
Basic Troubleshooting: Handle minor issues on the road and report any mechanical problems immediately
Fuel Responsibility: Properly manage fuel usage and follow fuel card guidelines
Empty Miles Awareness: Understand that if traveling empty (deadhead) or using fuel without an active load, those costs may be the driver’s responsibility
Availability for Loads: Stay ready to accept loads as they become available
